Dr. Darrell S. Parsons is a board-certified internist and the lead internal medicine specialist at Make You Well, First Physicians. His clinical focus includes preventive medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, and rheumatology. Dr. Parsons is dedicated to engaging patients as active partners in their own health — taking time to understand each patient’s complete health picture, communicate clearly, and develop individualized treatment plans.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Parsons earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Missouri and completed his medical training at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he was recognized as an outstanding resident in Internal Medicine. After nine years in private practice in Alpine, TX, he joined Make You Well, First Physicians in Odessa in 2012.
