Albany Adams, FNP-C

Albany Adams, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes that strong patient-provider relationships are built on trust, education, and open communication, and she is committed to empowering her patients with the knowledge and support they need to achieve their health goals. Her approach focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized care that addresses the unique needs of every individual and family she serves. 

Specializing in Family Medicine, Albany enjoys caring for patients across all stages of life and takes pride in helping them navigate both preventive health and ongoing medical concerns. Her passion for patient education allows her to partner closely with patients in making informed decisions about their health and wellness. 

Outside of the clinic, Albany enjoys reading, gardening, volunteering, spending time with family, and caring for pets. An avid swimmer, she loves relaxing at the beach and values quality time with her husband and two children. These personal passions help shape the warm, caring approach she brings to her practice every day.

Darrell S. Parsons, MD, ABIM

Internal Medicine

Dr. Darrell S. Parsons is a board-certified internist and the lead internal medicine specialist at Make You Well, First Physicians. His clinical focus includes preventive medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, and rheumatology. Dr. Parsons is dedicated to engaging patients as active partners in their own health — taking time to understand each patient’s complete health picture, communicate clearly, and develop individualized treatment plans.

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Parsons earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Missouri and completed his medical training at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he was recognized as an outstanding resident in Internal Medicine. After nine years in private practice in Alpine, TX, he joined Make You Well, First Physicians in Odessa in 2012.

Athena Moon, RN, FNP-C, is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of healthcare experience dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes that exceptional healthcare begins with understanding each individual’s unique needs, values, and goals. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes collaboration, education, and respect, empowering patients to take an active role in their health and wellness journey. 

As a Family Practice provider, Athena is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve optimal health through preventive care, chronic disease management, and comprehensive primary care services. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions. Her dedication to compassionate care and clinical excellence allows her to provide thoughtful treatment plans tailored to each patient’s circumstances and long-term health goals. 

Outside of the clinic, Athena enjoys reading, traveling, staying active through fitness, watching sports, and spending quality time with family. She especially loves exploring new destinations, with Australia being one of her favorite travel destinations. Her diverse interests and commitment to lifelong learning help her connect with patients from all walks of life and bring a balanced, positive perspective to her practice.
