Quick Answer: Make You Well has united trusted local clinics in Colleyville, Richardson, Sugar Land, and Odessa under one leadership team and one elevated standard of care. Patients keep the providers they already know while gaining walk-in availability, same-day appointments, and a fully connected approach to health across six Texas locations.
New Name on the Door, Same Faces in the Exam Room
If you have noticed the Make You Well name at your local clinic, here is the most important thing to know: the providers you trust are still here. In Odessa, the First Physicians team has cared for Permian Basin families and employers for more than 20 years, and that same team continues to see patients across all three clinics as Make You Well, First Physicians. In Sugar Land, the practice brings more than 30 years of experience in family medicine, medical weight loss, and advanced diagnostics. In Colleyville and Richardson, the same physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who built lasting relationships with their patients are still the ones greeting you at your next visit. You can meet the full team on our Providers page.
What has changed is what stands behind those providers: a unified organization with the leadership, resources, and technology to raise the standard of care at every location.
The Story Behind Make You Well
Make You Well was founded in 2018 by Elliot Dillman and Daniela Dillman, FNP-C, who opened their first clinic in Torrance, California with a single employee and a clear vision: healthcare built around accessibility, compassion, and an exceptional patient experience. In 2022, the Dillman family brought that vision to Texas.
Today, Make You Well supports more than 150 team members and over 30 healthcare providers across six Texas clinics. The organization is guided by General Manager Elliot Dillman, Clinical Operations Manager Lori Tompkins, and Assistant General Manager Nhi Thai, a team focused on one goal: making excellent healthcare easier to access for every patient who walks through the door. You can learn more about the people guiding the organization on our Leadership page.
What a Higher Standard of Care Looks Like
Easier Access, When You Need It
Walk-in urgent care is available with no appointment needed at our Richardson clinic and our East University Urgent Care location in Odessa, and same-day appointments are available at every Make You Well location. Select clinics also offer extended weekday hours and Saturday availability, because health concerns rarely wait for a convenient time. Find hours and directions for the clinic nearest you on our Locations page.
One Organization, Connected Care
When your urgent care visit, primary care follow-up, wellness program, and diagnostic testing all live within the same organization, your providers can communicate directly and your records travel with you. That is the foundation of our whole-patient philosophy, which you can read more about on our Approach to Care page.
A Modern Patient Experience
Online scheduling, 24/7 access to your health records through a secure patient portal, and on-site digital X-rays and laboratory services mean fewer phone calls, fewer outside referrals, and faster answers. Make You Well is also a proud member of Privia Medical Group, a multi-specialty medical group united around better, more coordinated care for patients.
